This video is helpful in explaining using the Total Physical Response method. It is a little cheesy, but I like it because it takes about explaining a story using actions. This is so important for emergent bilingual students because actions help them to remember words and phrases. It also helps them to learn new vocabulary because they understand phrases or words they didn't previously know by seeing the action related to it. Teachers should always remember to include actions and movements in the classroom because it helps keep students excited, entertained, and engaged in learning.

This video can be used in a couple different ways. It can help students understand about different dialects and forms of languages, however it can also be helpful to teachers. She does such a beautiful job of delivering an important message about how all languages are equal. It is good to show teachers to ensure that they understand these messages, but it also can be used to help students engage in a critical conversation about language. Students can talk about differences in languages and when they use these different languages. This is a great resource for building a welcoming environment about how all languages are equal.

This video is much longer, so it can be difficult to get through, but it provides valuable insight into the career of teaching English as a Second Language. This video includes a panel of educators discussing their jobs, challenges, and rewards. It helps new teachers think critically about the career they are beginning and how they can be successful in this career. This video can also be valuable to experienced teachers as well though because it discusses many of the challenges in this career and tools for handling those problems. It is a bunch of educators trying to help each other work through talking about their careers, so obviously, this is helpful to any teacher.
